Massey`s Frozen Custard in Carlisle

This place is SO great! Flavors change often and are very tasty. The best thing about Massey's is the affordable prices and the generous servings.

I can't give it 5 stars, simply because I suck at dealing with crowded areas. It stresses me out. I mean I love everything else about it, but the lines get long, and the ordering area is so so small.But its worth the wait.

Gotta say a buddy introduced me to Masseys and I gotta say it's a great place to go. There milkshakes are great there are plenty of flavors and the waffle cones are delicious. I had one with white chocolate macadamia nut ice cream I'll def be back

Never disappointed .

You will never leave unhappy. I always get the Arctic Mount or the brownie sundae. Today, I went with a hot fudge sundae. 😋 It gets crowded in the summer but is worth the wait. Parking gets a little tight. Seating outside, masks worn inside. Friendly staff and fast service. Enjoy!

The hand dipped ice cream was rich and really good. It was a warm day outside and was a great treat. Mine was a peanut butter flavored one (I forgot what the name was) but 10/10 recommend

Massey's has been a Carlisle favorite for years! In the summertime the line can extend out the door, the parking lot is frequently full of classic cars from shows, and really happy children running around in the back by the picnic tables. Massey's serves a varieties of ice cream favorites such as hand dipped custards, shakes and malts, soft serve, pretzel and sugar cones, artic blasts, a variety of sundaes and about any other frozen treat you can think of. They're now open year round, hours are shorter in the fall/winter but you'll enjoy any time.

A long-standing local favorite for good reason. Don't underestimate the hand-dipped vanilla! I like mine with rainbow sprinkles. Raspberry is another fave.

Great soft serve, I usually get a twist with vanilla and the rotating flavor which was blackberry this weekend.The shakes are good too, but I'm not certain I've ever tried their scooped ice cream.

This place is amazing! And the Frozen Custard is incredible. With standard and unique flavors, everyone is certain to find a favorite.

Great ice cream A Carlisle Classic

I have been going here since I was a child and the many flavors and different types of ice creams that you get there are absolutely amazing!

Independent soft serve ice cream with a great old fashioned feel. Lots of other options in shakes and dish desserts, and nice places to sit outside front and back. One of the twentieth century landmarks in historic Carlisle!

My 6 year old ordered an ice cream flavor she didn't like and asked if she could get a different flavor. They charged full price to change it , I tried the flavor myself and it tasted odd. I could understand if it was an adult, but a child! And the flavor wasn't good. Very disappointing.

Best icecream in the Carlisle area! Sizes are getting smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller but the prices are not coming down.

I'm not sure why folks love Massey's so much. It's not bad - it's creamy and refreshing - but every time I've tried it, I have a hard time distinguishing between the different flavors. Everything seems to taste the same.

Charming walk up stand with loads of choices and outdoor seating areas. There are drinks, several cone varieties and best of all, you can get regular ice cream or soft serve in multiple flavors. And SPRINKLES! :)

Frozen Custard was DELICIOUS! COVID NOTE: Way too many people piling into the lobby. Way too many people not wearing masks. Staff is masked, but unable to enforce masks and distancing, it seems.

This small location has some of the best I've soft serve flavors, and plenty of items to choose from. Pricing seems fair for the towers of ice cream you get.

You look at the price list and think it's kinda expensive...until the girls hand you the product. Plenty for the price. Not disappointed at all.

DELICIOUS! Great customer service; interesting selections with something for everyone (including lactose free options and a puppy sundae); and generous portions, too. (A large is HUGE and neither of us could finish our waffle cones, much to our chagrin).Definitely worth the stop!
